After a long bidding process, we were chosen to create a relaxing beach/surf theme to help calm even the youngest patients at the new Children’s Health Imaging Center in Addison, Texas. Children feel like they are spending a day at the beach, from being rolled into a huge MRI sand castle, to playing in a cool surf hut. Everyone loves the 3D palm tree, complete with five iPads with the latest award winning game apps for all ages.
“Love it! Thanks so much! The center turned out awesome and I am so pleased with everything!”

Inspired by the animals of North Texas, this world captures friendly animals in their natural habitat. From the armadillos to the fuzziest gopher, each creature and plant was carefully researched to offer the truest depiction of animals found in the North Texas region. This custom art was created to wrap seven sets of Horton doors and transform the space of children's quiet rooms. Using 3M© perforated vinyl, the full image of art can be seen on one side of the glass while allowing viewing from the opposite side.

Introducing “KidQuest”, our latest theme on making Christian education not only fun but helping kids to see that it’s an adventure. We took the most colorful stories in the Old Testament and brought them to life throughout the entire children’s ministry building. Each age-designated classroom is adorned with a specific story from the bible. We began with nursery to 2 years old classrooms, naming and theming it “The Garden”, (the beginning). From there we have “The Ark” (Noah), “The Den” (Daniel), “The Sea” (Jonah) and lastly for the older children “45th Parallel” (midway point) which helps transition them into the Youth ministry.
This timeless theme was custom created to support and promote the core mission of the children’s ministry. It’s the perfect reflection of the passion Crosspoint members have for the spiritual development of children.
“This is Awesome. WOW!!!! This looks so inviting! It looks so real! Just a few of the comments from the update to our Children’s Building. Character Farms took our vision and made it come alive.”

Character Farms was hired to create a miniaturized Route 66 children’s play area that includes all the famous stops throughout the state of Oklahoma. Fun playable gas pumps and a famous red barn that’s a bean bag throw as well as a reading hideout were custom made for this project. This is a truly engaging environment that’s not only fun, but showcases the rich Oklahoma history along this famous route.
“Character Farms created a one-of-a-kind playroom for us full of whimsy, warmth and extraordinary fun.”

To help children who are often really sick, Children’s Health got us to build them a lifesize emergency ambulance (backend) for their new “Ambulance Zone”, complete with pull out bench, table-bed and medicine and supply cabinets. This ambulance looks like the real deal only with a softer more approachable interior. It helps educate children through imaginative play and interaction. It teaches them that there’s nothing to be fearful or anxious about when it comes to these amazing emergency vehicles.

Our client asked us to take their existing office look and extend it into the back office and treatment rooms. What fun we had creating art out of the four basic shapes.
“My office looks amazing! The design team was able to create a bright, fun and timeless backdrop that fascinates not only our littlest patients but our older kids too!. The artwork is gorgeous and dimensional and gives that "Wow" factor we were looking for.”

Character Farms was selected to redesign the youth ministries building for Crosspoint Church. We energized their current space with an industrial artist studio look and feel with a touch of the Southwest. We properly named it “Studio 412”, after 1 Timothy 4:12. Not only is it more functional, its edgy, engaging, relaxing and most important inspirational. This new space invites youth to be more creative in the way they learn and express their faith.
Client: Frisco Dentistry for Kids
Location: Frisco, TX
Frisco Dentistry for Kids (FDFK) is located in one of the fastest growing areas in the country. This means that it is one of the more competitive markets as well for pediatric dentistry. FDFK asked Character Farms to come up with a theme that would set their office apart from their competition. We developed a front and back office play area as well as murals for all the quiet room doors. The result was extremely successful. Parents love the game areas as much as their kids.
“These guys are for real! They truly delivered what they promised. We've noticed that our patients not only love the new look, but their parents do as well.”

Welcome to the famous western outpost, Frisco Kids Dentistry. As soon as you walk in the door you’re greeted by “Cactus Jack”, a lovable six foot tall toothbrush slinging cowboy. Once you enter into the main hygienist area of town, you’ll find yourself surrounded by doggie cowboys and Indians, buffalos, wild horses and great big western vistas. Enter the “Old Frisco Mine” where you discover the most amazing retro arcade games. Each patient learns the story of “The Cavity Gang”, a group of wild cavity bandits with names like “The Bad Brush Bandit”, “The Candy Kid”, and “The Soda Scoundrel”. Before leaving every child is deputized with their own logo badge for
being brave during their visit.

We were asked to turn this new pediatric dental office into an out of this world experience for the patients and parents who enter it. When you arrive you lay witness to a large flying saucer, complete with a friendly alien that greets you from the rooftop. Children love playing the games that are built within the large retro rocket ship. As they are led to one of four treatment rooms, they are surrounded by planets, stars and a space dog named Astro. Since opening it’s doors a few years ago, Athen’s DentalWorks has become a regional landmark in Texas. At night, people come just to watch the light show that is built withing the rooftop flying saucer.

Join us on a journey into the wilds of Africa with some of the most whimsical animals you can find on the Serengeti. We created a 13 foot tall baobab game tree that’s the cornerstone of the children’s themed play area. With custom character brush mirrors and a giraffe named “Shorty”, patients and their parents will always look forward to their next appointment.
“I really enjoyed working with Mark and Ernie. They took my idea of "Shorty and Giuseppe" and brought them to life. The materials they use have been durable and kid resistant. I would highly recommend Character Farms for any business looking for colorful and animated themed projects.”
